Data Privacy Statement

1. General

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We always treat your personal data confidentially, in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and this privacy statement.

Personal data is all information by which you can be personally identified. In the following, we will give you an overview of how we collect, store, process and use such data.

We collect, store and process your data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) b of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the context of contractual and/or pre-contractual activities. The responsible entity in terms of data protection legislation is the operator of this website, whose name and contact details can be found on the Legal notice page of this website.

2. Data transmission over the Internet

a. Our web servers are located in Germany.

b. When you access our website, data is transferred between your computer and the web server on which our website is running. Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. between a web server and your computer, but especially when communicating by e-mail) can have security issues. It is therefore not always possible to completely protect the data transmitted against access by third parties.

c. For security reasons and to protect the transmission of content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. An encrypted connection can be recognized by a web address beginning with "https://" and, if applicable, by a corresponding icon (a lock symbol or similar) displayed by your browser. Encryption makes it highly unlikely that data transmitted between your computer and our web server can be read by third parties.

3. Nature and extent of the collection of data

a. You transmit personal data directly to us, for example by entering it in a contact form on this website. Please refer to the above general information on the security of data transmission over the Internet and any notes that may be displayed before you send the form. The transmission of the form data from your computer to our web server is carried out with SSL/TLS encryption (see section 2.c.). The data is then sent to us by e-mail. This communication is also usually encrypted and is carried out over servers located exclusively in Germany, however, we cannot guarantee this in every case.

b. In addition, we collect certain data automatically when you visit our website. This is mainly technical data, which is automatically collected by our IT systems in so-called log files (e.g. browser software and version, operating system, referring URL, the time you acces our website, parts of the IP address). This data can generally not be attributed to a specific person. A combination of this automatically collected technical data with other data is not planned.

c. Other than that, we do not collect data by using cookies or tracking or analysis systems such as Google Analytics, Matomo/Piwik or similar.

4. What do we use the data for?

a. The data that you enter in a contact form on this website (see section 3.a.) is used by us in particular to answer your message and/or to process your order. The data is used to establish and handle the contractual relationship between us.

b. The data automatically collected by our IT systems (cf. section 3.b.) is used to ensure the flawless and functional operation of our website.

c. We only transfer personal data to third parties in those cases where this is necessary for the handling of our contractual relationship, e.g. in the context of payment processing or, in individual cases, for subcontracting. We do not use your data or transfer your data to third parties for advertising or market research purposes.

5. Rights of the website user

You have the right to obtain information from us at any time and free of charge on the origin and recipient of your data and the purpose of data collection and processing. In addition, you can demand the correction, blocking or deletion of your data as well as ask us further justified questions regarding the collection, storage and processing of your personal data. To do so, please contact us via the communication channels and addresses listed on the Legal notice page of this website.

For reasons arising from your specific situation, you can object to the processing of your personal data at any time.

You may also have the right to complain to the responsible supervisory authority. In the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg, this is: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg, Postfach 102932, 70025 Stuttgart; street address: Königstraße 10a, 70173 Stuttgart; phone: +49 711 615541-0, email: poststelle@lfdi.bwl.de, website: www.baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de.

6. Withdrawal of consent; transfer of collected data

a. You can revoke any consent already given to process personal data at any time. For this purpose, an informal written notification, e.g. by e-mail, is sufficient. Our contact details can be found on the Legal notice page of this website. Your withdrawal of consent will not affect the legality of the data processing that took place up to such withdrawal.

b. You have the right to have your data transferred to yourself or to third parties in a standard, machine-readable format, to the extent technically feasible.
